Australia Walkabout Wildlife Sanctuary is the ideal place for a unique and special authentic Australian experience.
Australia Walkabout Wildlife Sanctuary is the ideal place for a unique and special authentic Australian experience.
Have you thought about doing something completely different with your team or your customers?
A place where your people can relax and unwind and de-stress.
A place where your team can go bush and confront physical challenges.
A place where your guests can experience a real taste of Australia.
A place where your employees’ families can enjoy a day out with the kids.
We’re only an hour from almost anywhere. 55 minutes from the Sydney Harbour Bridge, 1 hour from Newcastle south and 15 minutes from Gosford.
With a visitor centre nestled in 80 acres of bush with walking tracks to visit sandstone shelters and Aboriginal sites, a whole lot of friendly kangaroos and a myriad other Aussie animals around (and often on) the veranda, and rangers to guide you, it’s hard to imagine a more special place to get together with the team or your customers.
Do you want an unusual lunch venue or something different for dinner? Do you want your guests to enjoy traditional Australian fare? Prawns on the barbie, a big sausage sizzle, or a gourmet BBQ with kangaroo steaks? Or would you prefer a light buffet lunch with lots of salads and lamingtons for desert? You can even bring your own picnic or have a DIY barbeque.
It has never been easier nor more exciting to organise your function or event. We will tailor the experience to suit you. All you have to do is tell us how energetic or relaxed you want the program to be, and what you want your staff or your guests to get out of it. We’ll do the rest. Just some of the options available to you are Family days, Christmas parties, Incentive events, hosting international visitors and more.
After hours events can include exclusive access to the sanctuary, leisurely drinks on the veranda,ranger-led sunset and nocturnal spotlighting walkabout tours, a roaring campfire, indigenous night-sky stories, or a special Aboriginal dance and didgeridoo exhibition by the amazing child dance group the Ganang Spirit Dancers.
If you would prefer an overnight experience, you have your choice of three levels of luxury. Walkabout Park offers 5 beautifully appointed self-contained eco-cabins, or comfortable camping under canvas in 10 permanently sited four-person tents, or a more rugged camping experience in our Bush Survival precinct in a more remote area of the park.
