Human Rights and Modern Slavery Policy
Last update July 2025. Next review July 2026.
Our Commitment
We are committed to respecting human rights across all of our operations and supply chains. We support the principles set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labour Organization (ILO), and relevant national legislation.
Walkabout wants a kinder world. We need to talk about modern slavery and what this means, and what we can do about it. To start the conversation, we have made a public statement on our website about where we stand. It is so important that all of us, collectively and individually, do what we can to eradicate cruelty and exploitation in all its forms, everywhere in the world.
Modern Slavery*
We do not tolerate any form of modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, or child labour in our operations or supply chains.
Our Approach
- We expect all employees, contractors, and suppliers to act ethically and in compliance with applicable labour laws.
- We conduct due diligence to identify and manage human rights and modern slavery risks in our supply chains.
- We will take action where risks or violations are identified, including working with suppliers to remedy issues or, if necessary, ending relationships.
Reporting
We require employees, partners, and suppliers to report any concerns about human rights or modern slavery through our confidential reporting channels.
Continuous Improvement
We will review and update this policy regularly to ensure it remains effective and aligned with best practice.
